Videotel launches online access to its award-winning
training courses
Videotel Marine International has launched Courses on
the Web, providing both companies and individuals with 24-hour-a-day online
access to its award-winning training courses. While the programmes retain all
their original features such as video, interactive tests, workbook exercises
and full audio narration, their online format offers students additional
features, such as the ability to view progress and access course updates and
information online.
Videotel courses offer a comprehensive and stimulating
form of training and encourage learning through practical activities that
incorporate the student's surroundings. Furthermore, they allow learning at an
individual pace and at flexible times.

The courses Safety Officer, Incident Investigation:
Analysis and Reporting and Environmental Officer are accredited by the Nautical
Institute and have full Panama Maritime Authority approval. The Shipboard
Security Officer course is approved by the UK's Maritime and Coastguard Agency
(MCA) as well as by the Panama Maritime Authority.
Videotel's training initiatives have received
widespread recognition in terms of both practical content and production
standards. The course Safety Officer was awarded a certificate for Creative
Excellence by the US International Film and Video Festival. Incident
Investigation: Analysis and Reporting recently received the Silver Remi Award
at WorldFest Houston, USA, as well as the Award for Excellence in the
Multimedia & Interactive Publications category at the Apex Awards 2007
(Awards for Publication Excellence).
