Samskip appoints new agents in Poland
Europe's leading multimodal container operator
Samskip has appointed a new local agent in Poland. With a fast developing
market and increasing volumes on the existing Samskip services to and from this
area, Samskip felt it appropriate to review the set up in Poland. With
immediate effect, Burger Poland will be the new official agent in Poland,
representing the services of the entire Samskip Group.
Jens Holger Nielsen, CEO of Samskip Multimodal
Container Logistics, explains the broadening of the agency network towards
Poland:
"Due to the strong development of our
transport services to and from Poland, there was a growing need for a strong
local partner in this country. For several years Burger Poland has proven
itself as a reliable agent for our Reefer Logistics division. Thanks to the
growing Polish volumes in Samskip Multimodal Container Logistics, the time was
right to extend our cooperation and appoint Burger as the official agent for
all Samskip services to and from Poland."
"Burger Poland is experienced in sea as well
as land based transport In Poland. During the years we have been successfully
working with this agent, we have experienced the benefits of their strong
customer focus and detailed knowledge of the Polish market. As these aspects
