PC Maritime completes integration of Navmaster
ECDIS with the UKHO's e-Navigator
PC Maritime has announced that its Navmaster ECDIS is
now fully compatible with the UK Hydrographic Office e-Navigator platform.
PC Maritime's marketing director, Anne Edmonds, says
that the company wishes to ensure that customers can make use of the enhanced
services offered.
"We've completed the integration of Navmaster ECDIS
with e-Navigator early on so that our customers will be able to benefit from
the UKHO's product as soon as it is released to them. Currently e-Navigator is
being trialled onboard a number of vessels before the UKHO releases it into the
market. Once it is distributed to end-users, Navmaster users will be able to
export their existing routes into e-Navigator and make full use of its
passage-planning and chart ordering features. Equally, future customers will be
able to create their routes in e-Navigator and then export them into the
Navmaster ECDIS."
The e-Navigator compatible Navmaster ECDIS will be
shown at the Posidonia Exhibition by Poly Thomas Gunn who will be fully
supported by John Lilley & Gillie on Stand number 220.
