David Cheslin
Managing Director Dunelm Public

A trade and technical journalist from 1970 to 1977, David
Cheslin has worked in international public relations for over 25 years,
specialising in shipping and allied industries.
Journalistic experience was first gained with IPC Business
Press. In 1974, David joined Containerisation International as deputy editor.
For three years, he was part of a team which transformed this publication into
a magazine now acknowledged as the leading trade paper for the international
shipping liner industry.
David began work as a public relations consultant in October
1978, rapidly attracting a number of international accounts from contacts made
during his journalistic career and leading to the formation of Dunelm in 1981.
He continues to maintain a hands-on role with key Dunelm clients.

Judy Cheslin

Judy Cheslin is Director of Dunelm Public Relations Ltd,
responsible for the advertising element of Dunelm. Dunelm provides a wide range
of advertising services to its clients, placing advertising in 15 countries
world-wide. Its services are wide-ranging: from planning and implementing
advertising campaigns on behalf of clients to designing and producing a range
of materials from brochures to advertising materials for exhibition stands.
Judy works closely with clients to develop a targeted advertising campaign in
line with their corporate strategies.
Judy is a law graduate and, during the 1970s, worked for the
P&I Club Britannia as a claims handler. She is a founder director of
Dunelm.

Martin Rowland

Relations |
Martin Rowland joined Dunelm in 2000. He is a former
newspaper reporter and politics and economics graduate with extensive
experience of in-house public relations and consultancy work. Between 1971 and
1986, he filled press relations, publications and management roles with 3M,
John Player & Sons, Esso Petroleum and the UK Atomic Energy Authority. From
1986 to 2000, he was an account director with the Ogilvy & Mather and
Shandwick consultancies.
Clients have included the Nuclear Industry Radioactive Waste
Executive, the Campaign for Independent Financial Advice, 3i, Lever Brothers,
Norweb, Norsk Hydro, the Corporation of London, the UK Protection &
Indemnity Club and Maritime London.
Martin manages the UK P&I Club, Thomas Miller and
Hellenic War Risks Club accounts.

Tom Dodds

Tom Dodds has been working in public relations since 1980.
He was a member of the team that launched the Tyne and Wear Metro, the UK's
first truly integrated public transport system. He provided PR support to
British Gas Engineering Research Station, which specialised in subsea and
onshore natural gas transportation and distribution. He then spent seven years
in consultancy, working for a diverse range of clients, including a subsea
engineering specialist and the fashion and textile industry training body,
before joining a leading UK mortgage lender as Marketing Manager.
Tom is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public
Relations and served on the examinations team of the Chartered Institute of
Marketing.
Tom contributes a regular
blog on transport
matters to the Newcastle Journal's on-line edition.

Antje Wiechern

Antje Wiechern has a strong background in the shipping and
transport industry. Following an apprenticeship with an international container
transportation company in Hamburg, she then undertook sales and marketing roles
for various transport companies and completed a degree in Socio-Economics at
the University of Hamburg, Germany.
After moving to London in 2005, Antje complemented her
academic education with an MA (Distinction) in Communications at City
University, London, following which she worked for an energy and transport
publisher. Combining her background in shipping with her communications skills,
she joined Dunelm in July 2007, where she now works as an Account Executive on
client accounts such as Charente, IIR Exhibitions, Rickmers Group and Samskip.
